There’s no simpler way to eat Zespri™ SunGold™ Kiwifruit than to cut the kiwifruit in half and scoop out the delicious flesh with a spoon.
HOW DO I PEEL AND SLICE A KIWI?
The cut-and-scoop method is certainly one of the easiest ways to eat Zespri Kiwifruit. It lets you eat a kiwi right out of its skin, making it convenient to take with you on the go.
Some people prefer to eat slices of kiwifruit. Fortunately, it’s extremely easy to peel and slice Zespri™ Kiwifruit.
To peel kiwifruit:
With a short paring knife or serrated peeler, cut around the stem patch on both ends so that the stem end can be removed.
However, since Zespri™ SunGold™Kiwifruit has smooth skin, there’s no need to peel — simply cut and scoop, or slice into pieces!
REMINDER OF STORING KIWIFRUIT
You can keep the fresh in your Zespri™ SunGold™Kiwifruit for about two weeks by storing them in the fridge.
If your kiwifruit gets too ripe before you can eat them, or if you want to keep them for longer, you can pop them in the freezer until you’re ready to make delicious smoothies. Freezing your kiwifruit means you’ll always have kiwifruit on hand when you need one.
