We are excited to announce our first official ambassador for the Local Youth Sports Club Initiative- Olympic medal winner, Mariafe Artacho del Solar!

Mariafe Artacho del Solar with her teammate, Taliqua Clancy, won Australia their first Olympic medal for Beach Volleyball in 21 years! From the Olympics, Asian Championships, Commonwealth Games to numerous World Tours, Mariafe really knows what makes a winner!

This October, Mariafe swaps the Volleyball for the Watermelon, stepping up to help grow tomorrows champions! Local Fruit & Veg shops all over Australia are teaming up with local heroes like Mariafe to award over $25,000 in youth sports sponsorships and $7000 in Runners-Up prizes!

    When training for the Olympics, my go-to snacks were Bananas and Sweet Potato! 

It’s time to stand with Mariafe as she represents Australia once again to celebrate all local legends. Mariafes passion for youth sports, community and genuine love of Fruit and Veg is clear! Mariafe continues to be a shining example of what can happen when you help grow tomorrows champions.
