‘A better choice!’ proudly announces the launch of the local youth sports initiative.
The connection between local independent businesses and their sporting community has always been a strong one. From team and club sponsorships to donations of half-time oranges, our independent fruit and veg shops support their local teams and community because their local community supports them right back.
This month, local fruit and veg shops united under the ‘A better choice!’ brand are taking part in the Local Youth Sports Initiative, giving away more than $30,000 to local youth sports teams, clubs and individuals across Australia.
We think supporting the little guy is always ‘A better choice!’ and we know our local Youth Sports Clubs have had a tough innings, missing out on games, practice and sponsorships (hint: that’s where we come in!). So whether it starts with new balls for practice, a fresh kit, or a bag full of Oranges at halftime, we want to keep our future champions kicking goals for years to come!
Just like our fruit and veg we know that sports come in all different shapes and sizes, so we are open to all types of entries big and small.
