The Beaudesert community is set to benefit as The Big Pumpkin reopened at a new, bigger location as The Scenic Rim Farmers Market. The new store is a one-stop-shop for locals, offering an extensive range of delicious fresh fruit and vegetables.
Independent retailers and Beaudesert locals Gemma Holden and Brett Grattan have owned and operated The Big Pumpkin for the past four years, sharing their passion for fruit and vegetables with their community. They hope their new, larger and modern location will help them to better serve their community.
“Not only are we in a better location for foot traffic, but a bigger store means we can now better support the local community by offering a larger range of products,” said Gemma.
As A better choice! retailers, business partners Gemma and Brett source their produce for Scenic Rim Farmers Market through the Brisbane Markets® at Rocklea from local growers and family run businesses. Sourcing their produce from the Brisbane Markets gives Gemma and Brett the ability to not only provide their community with a wide variety of fresh produce daily, but also promote healthy living.
“We make sure we supply nutrient rich, varied fresh fruit and vegetables to our customers, and tell them about the health benefits of the fruit and vegetables we stock.”
Gemma and Brett are very active in their local community, supporting pubs and clubs with vouchers, donations and special deals. They have proudly established a spot within the community, providing exceptional service and engaging with many customers on a personal and first name basis.
