Broccoflower is a cool climate crop which grows in sandy soils. Regular irrigation is essential once young heads have formed. Heads grow rapidly near maturity.

Broccoflower, which originated in Holland, has taken America by storm and is now being introduced to Australian palates.

Botanical Name: Brassica oleracea var. italica x B. oleracea var. botrytis (Brassicaceae)

Alternative Names: A hybrid mix of cauliflower and broccoli.

Selecting tips
