Fresh Sensations is a family-owned gourmet grocery store established in 1993 by brothers-in-law John Nicolaou and Jim Mousikos. Both men were born in a small village in Cyprus and later immigrated to Australia. John arrived in 1965 and developed a passion for fresh produce while working in his brother's supermarket. Jim, after completing his military duties in Cyprus, moved to New York City in 1977, working in a local fruit shop before joining his sister and John in Australia in 1980.
In 1993, John and Jim seized the opportunity to open their first store in Capalaba. Through hard work and resilience, they have expanded to two stores throughout Brisbane, focusing on exceptional customer service and the highest quality fruit, vegetables, meat, and continental deli lines. With the support of John's four sons and Jim's two sons, the family business continues to thrive.
