Fruit World (QLD)

Just like their slogan ‘Eat Well For Less’, Fruit World is a hub of fresh fruits and veg at competitive prices. Owned by Gurjinder Singh, the store is located within the busy Alexandra Hills Shopping Centre. In 2007, with no experience, Gurjinder started working in a fruit shop in Oxley, where he spent about 7 years learning how to pick the right produce fruits and veggies. Gradually, he developed a keen eye for detail, and the right produce selection came to him naturally. Later, in 2014 he opened his first store called Pine Plaza Fruit World in Sunnybank. Gurjinder soon discovered that local produce is much in demand and successfully opened a second store, Fruit World in Alexandra Hills in 2017. Fruit World is dedicated to providing fresh quality produce to all its customers at very competitive prices. Gurjinder visits the Brisbane Produce Market Monday through to Friday to purchase great fresh produce for both his stores. Gurjinder focuses on knowledge sharing and spends time training each staff member to ensure a great customer service experience. At Fruit World, everyone who walks through the door is made to feel welcome. Fruit World's weekly specials can be found every week on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in the local newspaper, the Redland City Bulletin.
