Harmony Market's story began when their mum and dad migrated to Australia in 1966 and started in what they knew naturally- working on local produce farms. Their loved the industry and worked hard. In 1978, their mum and dad made a life-changing move and opened their very own fruit and vegetable shop in Kensington. The rest, as they say, is history, and their long legacy as fruit and vegetable retailers remains.
Like many children of fruiters, Ali's initially took a different route and experienced other fields before making his way back to where his heart belongs. Harmony Market is an opportunity for Ali's and his young family to continue their support for local farmers and serve the local community premium, seasonal, and ethically sourced produce- just like his parents prided themselves upon. It was a privilege for Ali to have such earnest values instilled in him from a young age, and now he is excited to have to have his own store.
