Hartley’s Fresh Market is an independent fruit and veg shop located in Ballina Fair Shopping Centre, right in the heart of Ballina. Inside, you will find owner Joeline working alongside a team of dedicated individuals passionate about servicing their local community – a community who is just as passionate about supporting their local, small business.
Joeline’s passion for fruit and veg started over a decade ago, where one Christmas she helped out her mother in the fruit shop she was working at, and quickly realised how different it was to her past industry experience. Falling in love with it, she started working part-time at her local fruit market, and after 5 years, opened what is today Hartley’s Fresh Market. The team not only love learning new things about the delicious fresh produce they stock, but also sharing this information with their customers too!
Joeline and her team are not just a store, they are a central part of the wider community. Harley’s are dedicated to supporting the community in any way they can, they never back down from an opportunity to help. Working alongside local charity, Aussies for Aussie, Harley’s offer their support by raising funds for driver education in local schools, to offering relief and aid during flood events.
