A Staple for Decades
Kirkwood Deli originally sarted as a locally owned neighbourhood deli and grocer, known for its fresh sandwiches, salads and convenient grocery items.
In 2015, two chefs Zac and Ryan Carey took over and expanded the offering to include gourmet food and chef-prepared take-home meals.
It grew into a popular institution in the Swanbourne area of Perth. In 2022, Kirkwood hit a rough patch and closed its doors.
Bouncing Back
Shortly after, two experienced food purveyors; Anthony and Michael took over and Kirkwood Deli became Kirkwood Continental Deli.
A grower direct fruit and veg section was added, along with new equipment including new meat slicers, a pro coffee machine set up and an Italian Moretti pizza oven. A dine in breakfast menu was added, a premium range of lunch options and authentic Neapolitan style pizzas at night.
This transformation ensuring that the little shop on the corner of Kirkwood and North street can continue it's legacy of delighting locals with mouthwatering deli fare and a warm, welcoming atmosphere long into the future.
