Materia Bros

Materia Bros is a family-owned local fruit and veg shop, an icon in Warrnambool. Opened in September 1964 by Sam Materia and brother Tom. The brother's love of fresh local produce wasn't about business it was about sharing a healthy way of life with the local community. Over 30-plus years later, the brother's legacy continues, as the generations of children who grew up surrounded by their passion, still run Materia Bros today. Mario and Paul with the help of their partners, children, and dedicated staff continue to strive to achieve the original values and travel to the Melbourne Market over 3.5 hours away, 3 times a week to get the freshest produce available from local growers. Today they have extended their offering to include a large range of grocery lines and offer home delivery to locals.
