Our family has been in the Australian grocery business since 1958 when we opened an Italian food store. The business was built on oil, pasta, and cheese. Altogether 45 varieties of pasta and 22 varieties of continental cheese and oil were displayed in their appropriate department alongside locally made Australian goods. The third generation of Piedimonte’s entered the family business and added a large fresh food department.
Our produce is sourced daily from the Melbourne wholesale fruit and vegetable market. Our team of produce specialists are up at 1.00am in the morning sourcing fresh quality produce from local and interstate growers.
