Third Generation green grocer Justin Van Twest is the proud owner of Rose City Fruits. He was born and raised in fruit shops with his Grandparents, Parents, Uncles and Aunties. From an early age he would walk from school to the family fruit shop and on Saturdays, he would wake up early to go and help out.
It was Justin’s passion for over 40 years to have his own fruit shop. He spent several years working at the Brisbane Markets at Rocklea developing extensive knowledge about Fresh Produce and building relationships with growers and agents. But his roots always came back to retail and working for his regular customers.In 2016, after visiting Warwick frequently, he realised Warwick provided a great opportunity for a fresher and wider range of high quality fruit and vegetables. After many conversations and with the major development of the shopping centre about to open, he decided it was the right time to open a Fruit Shop.
Rose City Fruits has been open since 2017. Justin and his team have been working very hard to have the shop presented with the Freshest Produce for families to experience and to service the needs of the people of Warwick and the surrounding communities. All of their local produce is sourced from the highest quality, straight from the Brisbane Produce Markets at Rocklea, so you can count on the finest fare all year round.
