Breakfast can get pretty tedious. Toast, or cereal, or if you’re feeling adventurous, you might have some eggs. But breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and a great chance to get some veg in your system so you’re ready for the day! Wondering how to add some veg into your breakfast routine? Keep reading, we’ve got you covered!
Add greens to your toast
Sautee some spinach or kale and add it to your eggs. Whether on toast under your poach or in a scramble. An easy addition of greens to your go-to breaky!
Frittatas are great because you can add everything! Some great veg to include are mushrooms, broccoli, spring onion, capsicum, spinach and zucchini. Make mini ones for those busy morning where you need to eat on the go!
Juices are great, because you mask the veg with the sweetness of fruit, by still getting your daily intake of veg. Include things like kale, carrots, celery, parsley and beetroot for a great looking and tasting juice!
Fry up a bit of everything
Sometimes, it gets to the end of the week and you have a little bit of everything left in your fridge! Chuck everything into a fry pan with your favourite spices and cook it up. Add some eggs and toast and you’ve got yourself a great, veggie-packed breakfast!
Hopefully this has helped inspire your morning routine. We promise you’ll be fuller for longer, which means more productivity in the long run!
