Avocado is a favourite amongst people who brunch. It is a go-to for any meal, and a welcome addition to any dish! For those of you, however, who get sick of the same old thing and would like to mix it up, we have put together a list of ways to spice up your smashed avo, and keep it tasting fresh and new every time you eat it!
1. Add a protein like fresh salmon or chorizo
2. A layer of chutney will add a new flavour that you’ll love!
3. All the spices! Think chilli flakes, paprika, pepper or even sumac if you’re feeling adventurous!
4. Don’t forget about the herbs. Add mint, parsley, coriander, or chives.
5. Tomatoes, always. Whether they’re sundried, roasted, fresh, sliced big or are little cherry tomatoes, it is no secret avocado and tomato go together like bread and butter! Try tomato in one of the ways above, and don’t be afraid to change it up every now and then!
