Loaded with flavour and spice, this creamy butter chicken is unforgettable and always makes us go back for more!
Ingredients
- 1 tbs Oil
- 1 tbs Butter
- 1 medium Onion, diced
- 1 tsp Fresh Ginger, grated
- 3 cloves Garlic, crushed
- 2 Chicken Breasts, diced
- 4 tbsp. Tomato Paste
- ½ tbsp. Ground Corriander
- ½ tbsp. Turmeric
- ½ tsp. Chilli Powder
- ¼ tsp. Cinnamon Powder
- ¼ tsp. Ground Nutmeg
- ½ tbsp. Garam Masala
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- Hot cooked rice and naan for serving
Method
- Heat a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the oil, butter, and onions, and cook until lightly golden. Add ginger and garlic, and let cook for 30 seconds, stirring so it doesn’t burn.
- Add the chicken and cook until the chicken is cooked through.
- Add the heavy cream, tomato paste, and spices. Simmer for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until the cream has thickened.
- Serve with rice and naan.
