Try adding Zespri™ SunGold™ Kiwifruit to your savoury meals with a simple salsa! This one is so tasty, we know you’ll want to lock up this recipe for safe-keeping!


  1. Pre-heat the oven to 200°C.
  2. Make the salsa: Peel the Kiwifruit and dice. Add to a small bowl along with the red onion, red chilli, coriander and lime juice. Stir until well combined and set aside.
  3. Line a rectangle banking tray with baking paper and arrange the sliced lemons. Slice the two chillies lengthways and place on the baking tray.
  4. Lie the salmon fillets on top of the lemon slices, drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Roast in the oven for 15-20 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and flaking. Spoon over the Zespri SunGold Kiwifruit salsa and serve immediately.
