A background in the gourmet food industry has given this father-son duo a passion for top notch produce. However, providing premium produce doesn’t come easy.
Can you believe Dave’s day starts even earlier than the Josephs’? Dave’s day begins at 1:30am as he takes the four-hour round trip into the Melbourne Market Epping (Melbourne’s version of the Brisbane Produce Market) to hand pick the produce for his store.
Usually Dave is at the market three days a week, but over the summer he likes to make the trip every day of the week!
Dave thinks some of the keys to doing his job properly is to open every box, hand select items, and build genuine relationships with the wholesalers to make sure his customers are getting the best produce possible.
