A Better Choice For Freshness

This is no secret, but kids grow like crazy! They outgrow shoes in a matter of months, and it’s important that their bodies are given the most nutritious foods possible to keep their bodies moving and growing, especially during their busy and active school days.

We also know how busy being a parent can be, so we’re here to help you plan out some easy (but totally tasty and healthy) lunches that’ll keep your kids happy and healthy throughout the week!

Day 1 – Monday: Salad Sandwiches

These are always a fave, and with the right bread and protein, you’ll have yourself a filling and healthy lunch to get your kids off to a great start to the week! Use multigrain bread, and a lean white meat, or falafel for a veg option. Of course, include a good serve of veggies, and maybe a yummy sauce too if they’re into that.

Day 2 – Tuesday: Spinach and Ricotta Rolls

These are great because you can make them the night before and eat them cool the next day. They’re super easy to make, and you can make them in bulk so they feed the whole family! They’re also easy to hide veggies in if you cut them up finely (for those slightly picky eaters!)

Day 3 – Wednesday: Veggie Rice Paper Rolls

Talk about healthy! Chop up your favourite veggies and protein (i.e. chicken, tofu, mushrooms) and wrap them up in rice paper for the perfect lunch time snack. Include your favourite sauce – we recommend satay – and your kids will be jampacked full of energy to get them through hump day!

Day 4 – Thursday: Salads

Okay, we understand this might be a tough one to get your kid to enjoy, but we promise there are some great salads that they’ll love! Check out our Chicken Crispy Noodle Salad, Beef Meatball & Crispy Noodle Salad and Vietnamese Chicken Salad – we promise they’ll love these tasty salads!

Day 5 – Friday: Mini Pizzas

We’ve reached the end of the week – your kids deserve some pizza! These pizzas are super quick and easy to make, and you can pop whatever your kid likes on them (no pineapple on pizza debate necessary!). We recommend chopping some veg nice and small so they’re getting all the goodness, as well as the scrumptious sauce and cheese of course!

We hope this helps make the Sunday night lunch box planning session a little easier
