Roasting pumpkin is a quick and easy way to eat this vegetable and the options on how to add extra flavour are endless! Our tip? Try seasoning with paprika, ground coriander, cumin seeds, sea salt and black pepper.

Warm up with soups

There are many different types of soups you can make using pumpkin, from a classic smokey pumpkin soupto a creamy pumpkin and lentil soup or a spicy Thai variety! Pumpkin soups are an easy dinner option and are a great way to warm up the whole family during the cooler months.

Puree and get creative!

Pureeing your pumpkin is one of the most versatile ways to incorporate this vegetable into your meals! Making pumpkin puree is easy and there are many different ways to do it. Depending on your recipe and preference, you can boil pumpkin in a large pot covered in water and blend when it’s cooked through, or you can roast pumpkin by slicing it in half, removing the seeds and roasting until tender. Roast pumpkin becomes nice and soft so you can mash it with a fork or use a blender or food processor to puree. Once pureed, you can get creative with what recipes to use it in!
