- Cut the ends of the asparagus and add to a large pan over high heat. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes, turning occasionally.
- Meanwhile, put the eggs into a medium pan, cover with water and place over a high heat. Bring to the boil, then reduce heat. Simmer for about 3 minutes for runny eggs. Using a ladle, carefully remove the eggs and place them in your egg cups. Gently tap each shell with a teaspoon and remove the tops. Serve straight away. Season with salt and pepper.
