  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add 2 tbsp of salt and cook the pasta according to the packet directions. Set aside 1 ½ cup of the pasts water before draining.
  2. In a large deep pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add in garlic and cook until fragrant. Add in chilli flakes and stir continuously for another 30 seconds. Add in the reserved pasta water and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the drained pasts to the garlic sauce and toss to combine. Add in parsley and parmesan. Add salt and pepper for seasoning.
