This versatile pesto is ideal to add to sauces or to pasta for a light meal.


  1. Using a food processor, process the basil leaves with the garlic and olive oil then add the pine nuts (or hazel nuts or walnuts) and process until you reach the desired consistency.
  2. Use at once or store in screw top jar in fridge for 7 – 10 days.
